Bloomsburg, PA June 11-13 2014

Our family had a show June 11-14 in Bloomsburg, PA which is about 2 1/2 hours north of where we live. This show had a pretty good turn out for being the first year for this particular show. We enjoyed meeting up with customers we have had for many years as well as meeting customers who have bought from us but we never met in person. Overall it was an enjoyable show!

We left for OH on Monday the 17th. We drove to Bluffton, OH and got our hotel. We had that hotel for Monday and Tuesday and then had another hotel for Wednesday thru Friday night. Saturday and Sunday evening we drove two hours then got a hotel. We had a pretty good show and it was quite enjoyable being able to see people we haven't seen for a while. Shows are fun because sometimes you don't see some of the people more than at the shows. Sometimes they come to our house to buy parts but usually we see them at shows. On the way home on Monday we blew a front right tire on the truck on the turnpike. Ray (dad) kept control very well and we pulled to the side and changed the tire. Quite scary but thankful that we were able to arrive home safe and sound. Thankful to God for the safe traveling otherwise and keeping us safe when the tire blew. :)

Rough and Tumble - Spring Show 2013

Rough and Tumble is a local show, about 30 minutes away. We set up on Friday, May 24th and tore down on Saturday. Friday it was a bit rainy but Saturday turned out to be a nice day. It was great seeing customers we knew as well as new people!

Lake Michigan Pictures!(below)

We arrived at Red Power Round Up Monday June 21 and we were there until Monday June 26. Wednesday night we had a tornado about a mile north of us. Quite scary. If I never have to hear the tornado sirens again that would be fine with me! Sunday we went to the lake that was close by (not Lake Michigan) and spent the morning and afternoon there. It was a cloudy day and it did rain some. Then Monday we headed up to Michigan City IN to visit Lake Michigan. That was lots of fun. We got to be on the beach and see the lighthouse. We were there for a little while. Then we headed for home Tuesday. Tuesday night we stopped about 20 miles into PA and then drove home the rest of the way Wednesday!

April 15 15 2010

We were in Danville PA at a Plow Day. We left Friday April 15 a bit before lunch and got up there around 2:30 p.m. We had quite the traffic on the way up there. When we got there it was about 70 or so degrees. We set up and ate some hamburgers. Then for the rest of the day it was a bit drizzly. It didn't really rain the whole time just off and on. We went back to the hotel, got some supper and some rest.

Saturday morning we got up around six something and got dressed and went outside. SURPRISE. It was freezing cold. No rain just really windy and cold AND we had no jacket for my dad. My mom had forgotten to grab his. So we ate some breakfast and wen to the Salvation Army store and got him a jacket. It was cold all day. This was the day when everyone that is going to be at the show is at the show. I think they said the total amount of registered tractors was 170. That is a good amount. It was a lot of fun because we got to see a lot of old friends and some new ones as well:) We left there around 3:30. We drove home Sunday.
